Meet Jackson
Jackson
DOB 6/15/2022
Severe cerebellar hypoplasia (CH, Wobbly kitty) Jackson is the biggest sweetheart. He loves to be held and purrs and purrs. Because of his severe CH he does not walk, but can scoot where he needs to go. He is still trying to walk and with further physical therapy may be able to in the future. He can stand when leaning against you. He uses the litterbox great, but it needs to be newspaper pellets and kept clean, otherwise he may scoot through a mess and get it on him. Occasionally he can have a pee accident so we always make sure to put him in the litter box right after he eats. He eats a mixture of Royal Canin Mother and Baby cat dry and canned, mixed with some water, every 8 hours. He will need his neck cleaned off after he eats because canned food gets on him. We usually use baby wipes. Jackson has so much determination and has no idea he is different. He does well with other kitties, but the other kitties can be thrown off by his clumsy movements, so they need to be pretty easy going to accept him. Jackson needs to be adopted with his sister Jada that also has severe CH. He would not do well with dogs or young children.
