After their beloved human passed away, they found themselves surrendered to a shelter in Texas. Thankfully, they made their way to Colorado, where they're now searching for a forever home that will give them the love and security they deserve.<br/><br/>The best thing about Izma and Makayla is how perfectly they balance one another.<br/><br/>Izma is the outgoing half of the duo. Friendly, curious, and always in the middle of the action, he's the self-appointed neighborhood supervisor. If something is happening, Izma wants to know about it. He loves chasing toys, investigating every corner of the house, and playing games of chase with his sister. Like any great young cat, he has plenty of energy when it's time to play, but he's equally happy relaxing nearby once he's gotten his zoomies out.<br/><br/>Makayla is a little more reserved. She takes a bit of time to settle into new situations and prefers to observe before diving in. Once she feels comfortable, though, her affectionate and playful personality shines through. She loves spending time with her brother and enjoys playtime just as much as he does. Watching her confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of getting to know her.<br/><br/>Together, they're the perfect blend of adventure and sweetness, playful energy and quiet companionship.<br/><br/>Because Makayla can be a bit shy, they would do best in a calm, adult-only home where they can settle in at their own pace.
