Ivy Domestic Long Hair & Domestic Short Hair Mix Carroll, IA

I'm Ivy and I am looking for a home where I can be queen of my castle. Left here as a sweet little kitten and came back in May of 2021 as a mean, nasty lady that no one could touch without getting some red, angry scratches on their arms or hands. I spend a lot of time in a kennel and dealt with some very patient, most of the time, people that gave me the time I needed to settle down and learn that people could be trusted. I slowly made my way into the main part of the shelter and now everyone gets to see me in all my glory. Does everyone get to touch me? Nope! I told you I make the rules so people only touch when I allow it. There is one particular person that doesn't know boundaries and doesn't appear to be scared of me. She is always telling me to knock it off and be nice. If I'm not nice I'm not going to find my forever home. I feel like I have it pretty well here, but I suppose I should probably take her word for it that a home would be amazing. I really should be the only cat, unless the resident cat is a laidback one.
