Meet Itty Bitty
Itty Bitty is a 3-year-old, sassy Bengal looking for her forever home, preferably with a family experienced in Bengal ways!
This striking girl is sweet but opinionated and will let you know when she wants attention or food. She really loves to go outside and will scratch at the windows and glass patio door to let her humans know. To curb her escape-artist desires, it is essential that Itty Bitty have supervised access to a catio or other safe, enclosed outdoor area. (When she did not have this access, she was known to escape by pushing out screens. Helping her relax and feel safe, and providing her with a lovely, safe, supervised way to enjoy the outdoors will make a huge difference.)
Itty Bitty also loves drinking from the faucets but will settle for the cat drinking fountain. She also loves watching the birds and will chatter at them from her window seat.
Itty Bitty gets her zoomies throughout the day and night, punctuated by long cat naps in her favorite spots around the apartment. She has a lot of energy and would do well with a lot of places to explore and climb and toys to play with. Itty Bitty loves playing with her jingle balls, laser pointer, feather toys and crawling in her kitty tunnel. She is incredibly smart and will problem-solve to free her toys when she accidentally bats them under the coffee table.
This beautiful girl currently lives in an apartment with two adults.
Itty Bitty will thrive with a kind, patient, compassionate, experienced Bengal family. She has been having a bit of spraying, due to her anxiety about not having outdoor access—as noted above, a safe enclosure or catio will solve this problem. She has also been taking gabapentin (she was prescribed two weeks’ worth by the vet) to help calm her down in the short term, which has been helping, but providing her with a caring home will be the best long-term solution.
Itty Bitty has an incredibly soft and beautiful coat. She is good with getting her nails clipped, especially when she's sleepy. She is sometimes a lap cat when she's in the mood to be. Itty Bitty has done well with gentle older children (no younger children or dogs, please) and cats, with a very slow introduction. This sweet tiger truly just needs to be loved.
If you’re ready to give her the care, patience, and enclosed outdoor access that she thrives on, Itty Bitty is ready to join your family!
