-Personality: Independent, shy, spicy, enjoys head/cheek scritches but sensitive to petting in other areas
-Can Live with Cats: No, I am FIV+ and will need to be the only kitty in the home
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown history - will need a slow proper introduction to ensure everyone gets along
-Can Live with Kids: No, I need an adult-only home
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes, due to my FIV+ status
-History of Litter Box Issues: Unknown, but I have been using my litterbox pretty consistently here at the shelter
-Energy Level: Medium
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
Additional Information: Igor is a special kitty in search of a special home. He came to us as a stray and it's likely he spent most or all of his time outdoors. Unfortunately Igor tested positive for FIV while here at the shelter (see staff for more details) and will now need to be an indoor-only kitty to prevent the spread of this disease. He's very independent and sometimes prefers to be left alone (don't we all?!) but does enjoy affection when it's on his terms. He purrs and drools when you give him head/cheek scratches, but doesn't really enjoy having his body touched too much. Igor will need owners who are cat-experienced and able to read his body language / respect his boundaries. He is prone to overstimulation but does give pretty clear signals when he's had enough.
