Hyper Hyphen - he's the life of the party! When Hyphen went to foster with his siblings, he immediately stood out as the curious climber and the chattiest kitten. He's an adventurous, persistent little ball of energy who loves to explore (especially the Forbidden Places) and he gets an extra boost of bravery when his siblings or humans are around. He loves to wrestle and play with his siblings, and he's never met a toy he doesn't like. Hyphen has the energy equivalent of about two toddlers (except he doesn't have to go to school!) so it's highly recommended that he has a young playmate in his home or a big family with people home often. The best way to describe Hyphen, in short, is he's that one kid still wide awake at a sleepover when everyone else wants to turn in!

Hyphen's favorite place is probably going to be your face! Given the chance, he will lay on your face and give the most enthusiastic snuggles, after he's done actively bouncing off walls. He purrs loud, loves to be held, and is very affectionate and a clinger. Hyphen is eager to trust and warms up to strangers fairly quickly. He's always the first to run to the door and greet you when you get home!

A fun fact about this chatterbox is that he has distinctly copied the meows of the two resident cats! The two adult cats of the foster are big talkers, and Hyphen's vocabulary has evolved to include common sounds the big girls make, well enough to fool the foster a few times! This includes the "mrrowww" sound of one and the "eoow" sound and pitch of the other, as well as the "hmmph" landing sound effect of both. Quite the vocal talent, with his bold "hyphen" eyeliner on his right eye to match!

-Great with kittens, adult cats, and humans, has not interacted with dogs

-Enjoys both wet food and dry food, has never refused an offering
