Hi, I'm Hootie!
I'm a 2 year-old brown tabby with big, beautiful eyes and a personality that's equal parts sweet and sassy. I love sitting on my cat scratcher like an owl and watching the world go by! That's how I got my name! I might come off a little shy at first (shelters can be a bit overwhelming, you know?), but give me time and a quiet space to decompress, and you'll see the real me-a playful, affectionate, and totally lovable girl.
I do appreciate my personal space sometimes, especially if I get a little overstimulated. Because of that, I'd do best in a home with older kids (over 8) who understand when I need a break. But don't worry-I always bounce back, and once I trust you, I'll be your loyal little lovebug.
Toys? Yes, please. Snuggles? When I'm ready, absolutely. Attitude? Just a little-but only the cute kind.
