Meet Honey

Honey is a 9-year-old sweetheart looking for her forever home!

Honey is a shyer cat who takes time to adjust to places and people, but she is very loving once she gets to know people, and she shows her affection by licking your hand and purring. She loves to be brushed and pet a lot throughout the day. She makes some chirping noises throughout the day and likes to sleep with you and purr in your ear.

Honey loves to play, use her scratcher, and look out the window.

During the day, Honey will usually sleep near me and come over for occasional pets. She needs a low to medium amount of exercise but will need to exercise consistently each day. She gets some herself by playing with balls or squishy toys, or making quick dashes back and forth across the house. She also loves having someone use a fishing pole toy with her as well.

She currently lives with her foster parent in a two-bedroom apartment.

Honey is timid and adjusts to new things slowly. She would probably do well in a relaxed, low-energy, and consistent home. It would also be best for her to have a home with no children or older children only. It is unknown how well she does with other animals, but it seems she may be happiest as the only one.

Honey needs a home that will help her lose some of her extra pounds. She has already lost some quite easily by eating a normal amount of cat food.

Honey does not like being picked up and hasn’t been a lap cat, but she is still very affectionate and loving.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.
