“It’s complicated.” That’s life. We get it -- really. For example, you could be sporting one long evening glove and one short mitten instead of two perfectly matchy-match paws. Complicated? Let’s say instead fashion-forward, innovation and creative. It’s all how you look at it.
Holly’s previous owners apparently decided their life was “complicated.” That’s how this 13-year-old tabby beauty ended up in a crowded shelter and then came to Homeward Trails. Holly wants you to know that there’s nothing complicated about her if you take the time to get to know her sweet self. Yes, she’s an independent girl – she’s had to fend for herself when her owners checked out. She has lived with other felines, but like many spunky ladies with an independent streak, she really thrives as a singleton. Like other girls who’ve suffered a broken heart, she’s a bit cautious in the beginning. As she gets to know you, you’ll find she loves nothing more than chilling by the window with her people nearby. Join her and take in the view together. We bet she’ll have something to show and teach you before too long.
Holly has had her senior bloodwork and a dental and has truly waited long enough to find her forever family.
Breed Estimate: Tabby

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering by visiting www.homewardtrails.org/foster-a-pet/dog-and-cat-foster-program/
