Meet Hobbes! This handsome boy has been a favorite in his foster home! Hobbes is full of energy and loves to chase his best friend Bippie around the house. He loves every toy he can get his paws on, especially tiny mice toys. He loves to come up and rub on his foster mom’s legs and talk until she gives him some much-deserved chin scratches. He’d rather have chin scratches than be pet on his back. He’s a bit nervous about being picked up and would prefer to be petted instead, but once you have him in your lap, he will quietly stay there and purr his heart out. He has the cutest meow and uses it whenever he needs something. His adorable crossed eyes seem like he’s giving you a goofy look whenever he looks at you. Loud noises and fast movements can be a lot for Hobbes, but he adjusts pretty quickly. He is just a sweet boy who loves his humans, wet food and Temptation treats. His foster mom says he was so scared in the beginning and watching him while he gained their trust and started letting his personality shine, has been one of the best foster experiences ever. Her favorite thing about him is how he is obsessed with her jolly rancher wrappers and will play fetch with them!

Hobbes MUST be adopted with his best friend Bippie. He needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run, activities to do, cat trees to play on and lots of toys. An apartment may not be ideal with his energy levels. He needs a patient family who will give him lots of attention, snuggle time and play time, but will also give him his space when he needs it. Hobbes does great with other cats. He does well with smaller cat-friendly dogs. He does well with children who will respect his boundaries and he is litter box trained.
