Meet Hitch (FIV+)

Hitch is lovable, funny, 3-year-old boy looking for his loving forever family-to-be!
This chatty orange boy brings the good vibes wherever he goes, which is usually close by his human friend. He’s extremely talkative, and likes to rub against your legs and beg for chin scratches while narrating his busy day.

Along with his commentary of purrs and meows, Hitch enjoys his comfy cat bed, his scratch pad, and (his all-time favorite) snuggling on the couch with his person.

When it’s time to play, this mellow guy can dial up the energy to chase his mouse toy and do laps of the apartment where he currently lives to get his zoomies out! He’s also a grade-A sunbather, and knows how to find the exact best spot on the carpet for maximum warmth.

Hitch’s ideal home would let him be the prince he truly is. He would do best with human or animal friends who can give him plenty of love and attention throughout the day. If they happen to enjoy couch snuggling as well, Hitch will truly feel that’s he’s won the cat lottery!

If you’re ready to invite this sweet, friendly guy to sit next to you while you binge-watch your favorite series, read a new book, or take a nostalgia trip by viewing “The Aristocats” together, Hitch is guaranteed to add lots of love, laughter, and fun to your home.

Hitch is FIV+, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life—cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, cats are able to live with FIV- cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here: https://tinyurl.com/58sf9wtj
