Hitch was pulled out of a car engine on a cold February morning, that is where she got her name. She was 5 weeks old fighting for her life. Luckily HART was able get her fully vetted and on track for a happy and healthy forever home. Her favorite thing to do is make biscuits and suckle on her blanket. When she was 4 months old she started to grow very ill. Hitch, a playful kitten full of life and energy was no longer the Hitch we grew to love. She was diagnosed with wet FIP, a death sentence in most cases however, there is a newly discovered treatment that has saved many lives over the past few years. Thankfully, HARTS rescue consultant, has a lot of knowledge and success with the treatments. She went through 84 days of injections. Within a couple injection you could see the life coming back to her eyes and there she was making biscuits on her favorite blanket again. She is finally free of injections and her 84 days of medical monitoring. She is doing much better and these injections saved her life. Hitch is a very thankful and loving cat. She acts like a kitten and loves other animals. At one year old, this FIP warrior is ready and so deserving of a forever family.
