Meet our very own Hermione! Yes, like her namesake she is an intelligent and delightful personality to be around. Her coloring will catch your eyes immediately and the way her big eyes look at you can melt your heart.

Hermione can take a little while to warm up and even then, she doesn’t always enjoy being touched and will walk away if approached. Once you pass whatever test she has set up for you, she will also be shown the other side of her personality where she will flop on the ground, meow, and let you pet or hold her. Once she’s someone’s solo cat, we don’t think it’ll take her very long to open up and demand affection, play, and even treats! Even with her siblings around, it’s clear that she prefers the company of humans in the same room instead of her siblings. For that reason, we think she would be a good candidate to go home as a solo as long as you have the patience to let her warm up and the ability to provide her with the playtime she looks forward to.

If you are looking forward to having a smart and observant kitty, one who prefers to nap in the same room as you, and one that is a shadow kitty, look no further. Hermione can be a little skittish but she will also meow at you and follow you around (hint: she wants playtime), and will also purr as soon as you pick her up and giver her all the head and chin scratches that her little heart desires. If you are laying down with her, Hermione likes to stand on your chest and make biscuits, lick your face, and rub against you if you stop scratching her. You’ve been warned!
