Hera's Story
Hera is an incredibly sweet, marble tabby kitty who was failed by her previous adopters. They neglected her, kept her confined to a small space and overfed her. This wonderful kitty deserves so much better!

She originally entered our organization as a two week old kitten with her mom and siblings. She was previously adopted out when she was about three months old, so she was with her mom and siblings for the first portion of her life and received excellent care while with us. However, she was recently surrendered back to us. Some of the photos included in this post are from when she was an itty bitty kitten. She is much bigger now, however, I think she is just as adorable as ever.

Hera would do best in a quiet home, without children or dogs. She is currently being fostered with other cats and gets along with them very well, but it is not a requirement that you have another cat at home to adopt her. She is currently on a diet, as she is overweight from being overfed a low quality diet before entering our rescue. She has already lost weight and is on the road to becoming a healthy weight once again. Her adopter must continue her diet plan to ensure her overall health.

Hera loves to snuggle on her little cat tower, lay between my legs in bed with me and rub on my feet. She is shy at first, but once she acclimates to a new environment and her person, she is a lovebug.

She is up to date on vaccines, has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV and has been treated for parasites. Hera's adoption fee includes her transport to New England.

Please send adoption inquiries via Petfinder. Thank you!
