Meet Henry
Hi, my name is Henry! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Affectionate, sensitive, LOVES to be brushed
-Can Live with Cats: No thanks, I would prefer to be the only animal in my household. I have FIV and cannot share my home with other kitties.
-Can Live with Dogs: No thanks, I would prefer to be the only animal in my household.
-Can Live with Kids: I would prefer an adult only home.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes, no exceptions due to FIV+ status.
-History of Litter Box Issues: None observed, has been using litter box consistently here at WHS
-Energy Level: Low/Med
-Bite History: None
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
Additional Information: When Henry first arrived at WHS, he was very overwhelmed by the chaotic shelter environment. He would hiss at noises, movement, touch and even smells he didn't like. With time, patience, and daily TLC from our dedicated cat volunteers, Henry has absolutely blossomed, becoming quite affectionate when he's comfortable! Henry would do best in a cat-experienced home that can respect the clear signals he shows when he wants to be left alone. Due to being FIV+, Henry will need to be indoor-only and the only kitty in the house. During his time as a stray tomcat, Henry contracted FIV. FIV is short for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus - a disease that weakens a cat's immune system and can make them more susceptible to opportunistic infection. With regular vet checks, FIV positive cats can live full, healthy, and long lives. Feel free to ask for more information.
