HEMINGWAY is an amazingly sweet, loving, and playful boy. He is so soft and silky! He is a Bombay, and a "Hemingway," meaning he was born with extra toes on his paws (polydactyl), looking like he's wearing catcher's mitts! He is bold, curious, and loves to be petted. He is great with other cats and all people and could adjust to most dogs. He is jet black and incredibly sleek. He will get used to being picked up once he trusts you.<br/><br/>HEMINGWAY was recently rescued and is very happy to be in Danbury and is looking for a home with a loving family. It's amazing how quickly he's adjusted and become trusting, having been rescued locally, and now having food, security, and love. HEMINGWAY will make an amazing shoulder and lap cat, given patience for him to adjust to his new surroundings. This house panther is amazing! <br/><br/>HEMINGWAY is just 5 months old and he is ready for IMMEDIATEADOPTION! He is fully vetted and ready to go home with you. You MUST commit to picking him up this week.<br/><br/>There will be a lot of demand for HEMINGWAY. He will have an adopter very quickly! Make sure to send an email requesting an application. IF YOU ARE NOT READY FOR IMMEDIATE ADOPTION, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!!!<br/><br/>Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive.<br/><br/>All of our cats and kittens are rescues from shelters, or surrendered to us by their owners.<br/><br/>All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention.<br/><br/>We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders.<br/><br/>Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations.
