Meet Heidi
"Heidi is a petite older lady who will be a quiet and low-key companion for someone preferably with no other pets or young children. She is 14 years old with no known health conditions. Although Heidi is shy and timid at first, she becomes a sweet cuddler with a little time and patience. She is great about using her litterbox and scratching only on her cat tree. She enjoys burrowing under blankets, sunbathing, and snuggling with a trusted human.
Heidi has been through a lot of changes for an older gal, so she will need some patience and understanding as she acclimates to her new home. Allowing her to adjust at her own pace will help garner her trust. If she hides and hisses at first, it is only because she's scared. Within a week she began to warm up to her foster mom, offering head bumps, pets & lap snuggles as she became more comfortable. She still isn't sure how she feels about being picked up, but it's possible she'll adjust as she bonds with her forever family. She's a sweet little girl who deserves to feel safe and loved."
