HAWTHORN is a gorgeous 2 1/2-month-old black and brown tabby male kitten with a velvety coat that has earned him the nickname 'little bear' for its fluffy, bear-like resemblance. Although the biggest of his litter, this handsome hunk has a gentle, mellow side. While he's good at entertaining himself, he loves to play with his littermates and wrestle with his brother, Spruce. After a play session, he loves to snuggle up on his human's lap and purr away. Hawthorn isn't a fan of loud noises, as they startle him, but with some encouragement, he overcomes it quickly. Hawthorn and his littermates were brought to our cat rescue group after someone left them in a box on a doorstep at about a week old. Hawthorn is a bit shy, he might do well with older cat-savvy kids. Hawthorn would benefit greatly from being adopted into a home with one of his siblings (Aspen, Laurel or Spruce), or where there is a friendly and nurturing young cat to help him acclimate. Hawthorn is a sweet and gentle boy with lots of love to give! Hawthorn has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet wellness exam.
