Hi! My name is Hawn. I'm a dainty, delightful young lady who will probably stay on the petite side. I've come a long way since my days of being timid and shy! My temperament is friendly and sweet, but I still have a sensitive nature and can be spooked by noise and commotion. I adore people's attention and love a calm petting session. A slow approach is more my style, but once you start petting me, I don't want you to stop! If you put your face close to mine, I will give you a head bonk and rub against your face, sometimes giving a little tickle with my whiskers. I play briefly with wand toys, but would rather just have your affection for now. I'm not a fan of being picked up for cuddles, but that will change once I gain confidence and trust in my new surroundings. Some things I like are cat treats, catnip, romance novels, and movies where the underdog wins, like "The Karate Kitty"! I will need a patient adopter with a quiet home and settled routine, someone who can calm my fears and understand that I'll need time to adjust to a new environment.
