Halle Berry A-2643 Tortoiseshell & Domestic Short Hair Mix Eaton Rapids, MI

Halle is one of the most loving kitties ever! She craves being around a human that makes her feel safe, and she absolutely loves being with other kitties. She's estimated to be 1-2 years of age. She was found outside in a subdivision in Frankenmuth where she had two kittens trailing behind her. No one claimed her, and SBZ stepped in and took her into their rescue (and her two gorgeous kittens). At first we thought Halle might have to be placed at a barn, but after her surgery she showed us how much she loved to be around humans and especially other kitties! She is still more of a reserved kitty until she knows she can trust you. After all, someone had failed her once already by dumping her outside pregnant to fend for herself. She also startles easily, so she is gradually getting used to normal everyday noises like a vacuum or a TV. She wouldn't do well in a household with lots of activity or children. She would do best in an adult only home, and she absolutely needs other kitties that won’t mind her trying to rub and walk tail-in-tail with them. She would love to be adopted with her best buddy Belinda. These two girls love to give head butts to each other and walk together with their tails intertwined. She doesn't seem to be interested in playing too much with toys since she still doesn't understand what they are since she's lived outside for so long. She will need a home with an experienced cat owner who knows how to nourish a kitty who still has some insecurities. She would probably do well in a home who has a cat-loving dog as well because she seems to love all 4 and 2 legged creatures.
