Meet Hagrid

?Please read the following information about Hagrid:

Hagrid was surrendered after his owner could not provide care for a life-threatening urinary obstruction. Due to his urinary issues, it is imperative that Hagrid stay on a prescription urinary diet for his entire life. (For more information on urinary issues in cats, please visit https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951488)

Hagrid is a 1 year old sweet boy who can be a little shy at first. He is in a foster home with two other cats and two dogs. Hagrid coexists peacefully with them, but they are not friendly with each other. He would be fine in a home with calm dogs and/or feline friendly cats. He would also likely be content in a home without other animals.

Hagrid is an aloof cat. He doesn't seek out attention and doesn't tolerate excessive handling. He prefers to hang out and do whatever he likes to do (nap, lazily bat at toys, break into the treat cabinet and steal food). He must remain indoor only, but would enjoy supervised patio time.

He has been through a lot in a short period of time. Between ER visits for urinary issues and his owner not being able to keep him he will be grateful to be in a permanent home and not have any more changes in his life. He will need to be on a urinary diet his entire life so please keep that in mind.
