Well, my name is Gurly. I'm 7 months old, and I'm a grey tabby boy. I'll be honest, the shelter sucks. I'm stuck in this small cage, and even if it has what I need, it doesn't have what I want--a furever family. So I get a bit grumpy about that, and I might even hiss sometimes. But I'm not really hissing at you, I'm hissing at the situation. I actually really love to get pets, especially chin scritches and head pats. I would love for you to come see me here and maybe give me some love, or if you're looking for a kitty to bring home, you could bring me home! I'd love that so much!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
