Meet Guppy & Pirate!
Guppy (female) and Pirate (male) are looking for a special home together.
Their mom sadly tested positive for Feline Leukemia (progressive infection) through a qPCR test. The kittens will also be tested when old enough to verify but we are accepting applications to reserve them now.
Mama and two of the other kittens are currently reserved for adoption pending confirmed tests for the kittens. We would really like Guppy and Pirate to go to a home together!
FeLV is contagious and fatal. It is important to understand that these precious angels will not be with you as long as the average cat. They can live anywhere from six months to three[ish] years (we are hoping for the latter). It takes a special, compassionate person to open their home to an FeLV+ cat. You can think of it as taking in a senior cat who is still deserving of love and a comfy place to rest their head ?
FeLV+ cats can live with other FeLV+ cats or cat friendly dogs.
They will be fully vetted which includes flea treatment, dewormer, appropriate vaccines and spay/neuter.
