Meet Groot
GROOT is a handsome young fellow, a male teenager kitten with a short black-and-white tuxedo coat and a unique "skunk" stripe down his nose. He takes a little time to warm up to new situations, but once he's comfortable, he's quite affectionate and cuddly. With patience, love, and nice food to nibble on, he'll soon come out of his shell and show what a sweet and playful dude he can be! His toy of choice is the feather wand. Groot also enjoys playing with his siblings-especially his brother Rocket-and when he's done, he loves to just chill out and take a nap on a comfy blanket. Groot and his siblings were brought to our cat rescue by a park ranger who was trying to catch an adult stray but found a litter of kittens instead. As an active kitten, it's critical that Groot be adopted with one of his siblings, or into a home with another kitten or playful young cat. If you're looking for a furry companion to keep you company for years to come, Groot may just be the one for you.
GROOT has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet GROOT in foster care, please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy at either Eugene PetSmart location. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet.
