Meet Greyhound
Greyhound is a senior girl who has had a lot of adventure in her life, not all of it good. She is about 10 years or so. She was rescued from her very risky existence living at a bus station in the northern part of BC in the winter. It is anyone's guess how she managed to survive that, but survive she did, and now she is safe and warm with us at the shelter.
Greyhound was extremely shy and nervous when she first came, and spent most of her time hiding in little cubbies. At our vet visit it was determined she needed a dental, which she has since had and recovered nicely. We think she is much more comfortable now that her teeth don't hurt,
Now that Greyhound is settled in and feeling better, she is out and about in the room and will take a few pets sometimes. Her nature is still to shy away from human contact so she would not be a good choice for someone wanting a lap cat. That may never be her thing. But if you want to give a loving home to a wee little cat who has had some very hard times in her past, then we invite you to come and meet her.
