Gretchen and Cady's Story

Gretchen and Cady are two sisters from the "Mean Girls" litter that were rescued from an abandoned Naval base that was scheduled to be demolished. They were very small and very scared when we rescued them, but have done well in foster care and are quickly learning to trust and love humans, and are well on their way to the nice girls club! Gretchen and Cady are bonded sisters, and are being adopted out together.

Cady is the beautiful tortoiseshell kitten with only half of a corkscrew tail. Gretchen is the sleek black kitten with fur as smooth as silk. Both girls are a little shy, but are learning quickly to open up and trust humans. They are very young, and have been through a lot in their short lives, and are adjusting well given all that has been thrown at them. They absolutely love to play, and it's the key to unlocking their hearts! That, and of course Churus treats! They cannot resist! Once you have them in your lap, they simply melt and accept all the pets, giving loud, happy purrs in return!

Given their shy nature, they need a calm, quiet home without young children or rambunctious dogs. They need someone who will be patient with them as they grow and learn. Someone willing to give them all the time and love they need to settle in. They have been around other cats and do well with them.

Gretchen and Cady have been triple tested, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas. They are scheduled to be spayed in about 2-3 weeks, as soon as they reach 3 pounds, and will be available for adoption then. They are available for pre-adoption now, so put your application in now and these girls could be coming home with you before the new year!
