Gorgeous George is a two-year-old, opinionated gentleman cat looking for his forever home!

George started life in an overcrowded home and had some fights with the other cats. He was very cautious and defensive at first but has bloomed into a cuddly, purring talker! Greeting his foster every day with a discussion for the day and sleeping at night curled right up by their side.

Gorgeous George loves to be with his human, he doesn't mind his foster's small (6lb) dog, but he's defensive and scared when he sees other cats. George is full of love; he wants to hold hands, sit cheek-to-cheek, and just always be by someone's side. He does have a rough past, so his new home should be quiet, with a patient new family who is ready to give some extra time to easing George into his new life. Once he opens up, he loves to play, chase his toys, and use his scratching post.

George adores his cardboard boxes, and bell toy, His favorite place to sit in the windowsill so he can keep an eye on the neighborhood squirrels and birds. He also likes to stretch very long, and he is quite the orator! Loudly declaring his opinions on dinner time and the number of given treats. George is also a bit mischievous, using his extra toes to open doors and work his way to tuck himself under covers at bedtime. George would not do well with children as he can get scared quickly, and when he's happy, he sometimes softly play with bites. He would do well in a home where he can sleep in the new family bedroom as he loves to cuddle up at night.

George has his own room in his foster home and is currently on a wet food diet. He is indoor only.

George's ideal home would be with a new family who has experience with cats. His perfect home would keep him feeling safe and loved. He likes to wrap himself around ankles, so a home with anyone with mobility issues may not be good. He also can play-bite or get defensive if surprised, so a family with children may not work. He's still a fairly young cat, so a home with someone he can play games with him, but also a home where he can cuddle up as much as possible!

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
