Meet Goldie

Days are passing by one by one… People are passing by… Time is running, it never stops…
And poor Goldie is still behind bars losing hope to ever go out. It is already more than a half year since she was rescued from a killer shelter.
She was brought there without any explanation or reason. Simply left to die. And she almost did, because time runs even faster in a killer shelter. 7 days, your safe period, expire in the blink of an eye. Goldie hoped so much that somebody would pick her up and save her. No such luck! With every passing day her chances of survival got smaller and smaller. Until one day it was over…

Well it was almost over, because we happened to be there to rescue some dogs.
How could we be so coldhearted and walk away from thhose begging emerald eyes? How could we leave this girl to die?
We rescued Goldie, and it looked like a happy ending for this sweet purring girl.
But more than a half year later, she is still an orphan. It seems like Goldie was cursed with a dark spell. She becomes more and more sad with every passing day. Wouldn’t you? So many other cats and kittens came here and were adopted. They were not better than Goldie and definitely not more beautiful. Maybe younger. But 3.5 years old is nothing, when the lifespan of an average cat is around 15 years! Goldie still has a long life ahead of her.

So, what is the reason of her still not being adopted?

Sincerely, there is not any good reason, rather than, maybe because she is meant for you and is still waiting? And if you were looking for your ideal pet, your friend and soulmate all this time and were not able to find it, maybe you were simply expecting to meet Goldie?
If so, please, don’t postpone your meeting any longer! Goldie was waiting for you so long! She really needs you!

Here is the more traditional description of Goldie:
Goldie is gentle, sweet and very well-mannered cutie about 3 years old. She is a wonderful loving little girl that came to us from a killer shelter.
Goldie is shy and nervous at first, but she warms up after a while. She gets along with other cats. (Has not been tested with dogs or kids.)

Goldie has rich fluffy golden-peach fur that is a delight to brush.
She looks wonderful now and is waiting for her forever home and the good life, which she richly deserves!
Goldie is 100% healthy, has been fixed, and is current on all shots. She is ready to move into her forever home, and she is simply waiting for you to come!
