Goldfinch's Story
Goldfinch (aka Chip) is a lover of food and friends. He was born on 4/13/2025. He is skittish of hands and sudden movements, but will happily flop down by the nearest person for pets and affection. He purrs constantly when happy, and can be heard clear across the room. Chip is endlessly playful, but will hog all the toys if you let him. He does not do well alone, and would like to be adopted with one of his siblings (Bluejay and Cardinal) or go to a home with a new friend he can jump on and play with.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
