Get ready to fall in love! It's impossible not to when you meet this guy! Gizmo is a staff favorite here- not only is he a big, handsome boy but he also has the best personality! Gizmo is a confident cat who adjusts well in new situations and made himself right at home here. He loves being around people and has the cutest old man meow when he wants your love (which is often). He enjoys spending his time hanging out with his favorite people, laying in piles of cat nip and watching the birds out the windows. His foster mom says, "Gizmo really is exceptional and someone who likes cats will find him interesting. I think he would learn tricks with someone. He is very social and loves to snuggle." All around, he's such a smart, sociable, playful, snuggly cat! He also has an adorable habit of burrowing under blankets for a cozy nap. Gizmo may be "senior aged" but he has plenty of pep in his step and still enjoys plenty of playtime with his favorite toys! Gizmo is the BEST boy and we're sure you'll love him as much as we do!

Gizmo should do well with other pets and respectful children of any age. He gets along well with the other cats in his foster home.

Gizmo is currently in diabetic remission - he no longer needs insulin shots but is on a low carb, prescription diet to help prevent his condition from returning and will need more frequent monitoring with a vet as he ages. He is looking for an Exceptional Owner willing to take on these added costs.

Gizmo is a 9 year old neutered male. He is microchipped, current on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV!
