Ginger's Story

Hi, my name is Ginger. I was left behind in the parking lot of an apartment complex when my humans moved. I was approached by a nice lady who then called LPAH for help. This lady thought I was a girl and she named me Ginger. As it turns out, I am a boy! I love children and people in general. It may take me a little bit of time to warm up to a new environment, but once I know you, I warm up quickly! I am about 2 years old and FIV positive.

Lending Paws A Hand's Adoption Policy
Adoptions are $200 for adult dogs, $275 for puppies (under 5 months), $100 for adult cats, and $175 for kittens (under 5 months). All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered (if they are too young an appointment will be made when they become of age). LPAH is a foster based rescue which means our animals are placed in a loving foster home while they wait to find their forever home! If you are interested in applying for any of our adoptable animals, please fill out an application at lpah.org/adoption or via the link on this page and we can set up a time for you to meet your potential new best friend! Because we are foster based, we only adopt out to the states of NC, SC, and VA. Puppies and kittens are a smaller adoption range, as they are required to have remaining vetting prior to adoption finalization. If interested in fostering for us, learn more at lpah.org/foster-for-us
