Meet Ginger

Ginger is a 12-year-old, beautiful and shy cat looking for her forever home.

She loves to play with wand toys and relax near a window and on hip-level surfaces. At first, she can be very shy, cautious, and feisty. Once she is comfortable with you, she likes to lay on your lap while you watch tv.

She loves to chase wand toys and sleep on your lap while you nap, watch tv, or do any other activity that doesn’t allow you to move.

She eats twice a day, uses the litter box correctly, and gets the zoomies at night. Her energy level isn’t high, but she does like to play before her evening meal.

Ginger currently lives in a cozy studio with plenty of natural light and windows to look out from.

Her ideal home would be one where she is the only cat, no small children, and with an owner that will love her and be patient with her as she gets acclimated.

She will need ongoing medication (Atopica) to be given by mouth daily before food. Her foster can teach you how to give her medication.

Ginger is a sweet cat. She is declawed on all four paws, so when she is scared or feels threatened she hisses and gently bites (which is understandable given that she is declawed). Once she gets to know you though, she is a sweetie that will seek attention when you are relaxing and staying still.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
