Ginger is a pretty 4.5-year-old girl with dilute tortie coloring. She is very sweet. It takes a minute for her to warm up to you, but she is a sweet girl and enjoys being petted and told how pretty she is.

Ginger has been around dogs and is ok as long as long as they are not barking or chasing her. Ginger has experience around other cats as well, but her ideal home is a quieter, stable atmosphere and even though she has been with other animals she would like being in a small household where she can get more attention. She would be fine as a solo kitty as well. Ginger uses her litter box well. She likes to play some too. If you provide a scratch post, Ginger is not one to stretch and use claws on furniture. She is a wonderful, gentle companion. If you have a quiet household that would allow Ginger to blossom she would a great addition to your home.

Ginger would prefer a home without young children. Little hands grabbing at her and all that activity make her a little anxious and can take away the time and attention she likes from her older people. Kind, school aged children would be ok, so long as they understand she is not a stuffed animal to be carried around everywhere.

Ginger is up to date on her vaccinations, is spayed, and has a microchip.
