The adoption fee for cats is $30 for one or $50 for two. Kittens are $50 each or 2 for $90. Kittens and cat friendly cats do very well in pairs. They always have a buddy when you're away and kittens are very playful and appreciate a friend. Another kitten or cat makes the purrfect playmate and two cats aren't much more work than one.  Consider two cats if you can. Ginger is approximately 4 months old, he is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Ginger has tested positive for FELV, which is feline leukemia. FELV is specific to cats and does not transfer to humans or other animals. This illness causes them to be more susceptible to disease with a weakened immune system.
This disease is considered contagious to other cats. The most common transmission is via blood or saliva from fight wounds. It is recommended that he be an indoor cat for life to decrease transmission as well as to prevent him from becoming ill or injured by other animals.
However if they are kept otherwise healthy the can live normal happy lives. Ginger is a happy boy that loves playing with his toys, and is incredibly snuggly and loves being held.
