Meet Gina

Date of birth: 2007

10/13/2019: Gina is a pretty 12 year old Tabby, although you'd never guess she was a senior! She's silly and playful and loves to play with toys. And she's a big ham! She loves people and LOVES attention.

Gina would prefer to be the only pet in her new home-- she thinks it would be better if she got all the attention and didn't have to share her new family with another dog or cat.

Gina has an elongated soft palette. This causes her to make some light respiratory noises as she breathes. She occasionally has some mild nasal discharge as well, but it's generally not an issue.

Gina has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for feline leukemia. She's a lot of fun!

MORE ON ADOPTING OUR CATS...

> WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO SUBMIT AN ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION AND SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. By submitting an online application, we can process your application more quickly and can schedule an appointment for you to come in so that our small staff can serve you best. It also allows us to make arrangements if you’d like to meet a pet in foster care. Please visit our web site at HSGKC.ORG for an adoption application and more information about our adoption process, fees and all that's included.  An application is required to adopt a pet and applicants must meet our adoption requirements.

> If you decide you'd like to adopt one of the pets you meet, we reserve the pet for you but we generally don't send the pet home with you that day. We’ll instead schedule a pick up date and time that’s convenient for you.

> Most of our cats are not confined in cages but instead live in our spacious and sunny cat rooms. It's a great environment for them, it allows us to get to know them well, and it's a nice environment for you to come in to visit -- and find your perfect match!

> Our goal is to send you home with a healthy pet and any information and support you may need to help your new pet adjust to his or her new home. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for feline leukemia. Kittens who are too young to receive all the necessary kitten boosters and/or first rabies shot may be brought back to us for those vaccines at no extra charge. Take advantage of our ADOPT-A-BUDDY program: Adopt two cats or kittens together at a greatly reduced adoption fee!

Thank you for searching for a shelter pet!
