Gigi Domestic Short Hair Mix Grand Rapids, MN

Gigi came into rescue with her 4 kittens after being found in a barn. She was also a surrogate for 2 orphan litters. Gigi is a 2 year old semi feral/ skiddish black and white domestic shorthair. She has never offered to bite or scratch but she will hiss if she feels cornered. She has come a long way trusting people and loves chin and ear scratches. She is currently in a tower kennel so she can be a part of the home without her being stressed and hiding. She knows her catio is her safe space and loves to sleep in her hammock. She is very interested in other cats and she doesn't pay any mind to dogs. She doesn't like being held and will try to get free. We hope to find indoor placement as she will continue to thrive with time and patience, but she is considered a barn cat. She has helped a total of 22 kittens since she came into rescue. If she hears kittens she will start chattering back and fourth to get them to come to her and then she will proceed to clean and cuddle.
