MEET GIA!

This beautiful full-figured lady is named Gia! She's a 14 year old Tabby dumpling who was surrendered to City of Elderly Love due to her former family moving and not being able to bring her along. They had nothing but amazing things to say about this sweet, chatty girl so we were happy to help her stay out of the shelter system and instead find a loving retirement home.

Gia aka GiGi took a little while to warm up in her foster home but once she did and despite her grump face, she had no problem expressing her chatty, silly personality! Gia has found a favorite place in her foster home which is in a little cat cave at the top of the stairs so she can watch her canine and feline siblings go by. She gets along with them great but isn't interested in playing with them. Gia loves long pets along her back, she has a beautiful loud purr and really loves playing with dangly things like strings. She would be great in a calm home that needs some kitty love. Kids are fine as long as they know she has some touching boundaries (no chest, belly or leg touching and only sometimes on her face when she nudges you - girl knows what she wants!). Gia has received a veterinary workup and has proven to be a very healthy girl!
