Georgie is an absolutely incredible young male cat who loves to play (with humans, dogs, and other cats!) , cuddle , purr, and be pet! This young boy, estimated at about 1 year old, is healthy, neutered , negative for FIV and FELV, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He will walk right up to you and let you know. it's time for cuddles and then he will cuddle in your arms, it’s the sweetest! He also really loves his resident dog and kitten friends, and easily snuggles, cleans, and plays with them (as much as they will allow!) He really is a wonderful boy!

Georgie was rescued from a sad life living in a dirty basement of an apartment building in Washington Heights Manhattan . Our rescuers got the call from a concerned community member after they heard management wanted him and the other cats living in that basement gone. We rescued him and "Amsterdam" (since adopted ). Georgie was the FIRST one to walk right up to us when we came to the rescue, and happily walked right into a carrier without a peep! As if to say "Get me out of here!"
