George is a good looking dark gray boy with striped gray legs. He’s been in foster care since mid-February 2023 along with his siblings.  George is a little bit hesitant when new people visit him but quickly warms up to them when starting to play with him.  He loves to play and as soon as he trusts you, he loves pets too including belly rubs. He is athletic and loves to play with his siblings, with feathers that are on strings, and will chase toy springs and tiny balls. Bird watching and watching TV are favorite activities of George as well. After he gains trust, he likes to be held for short periods of time.   He greets his foster family every morning rubbing around legs while waiting for his breakfast (canned food).    We believe he will do best with humans aged 10 and up. He loves his sister Meredith and will benefit from being adopted with her or one of his other siblings. A young feline friend is a must if not adopted with a sibling as he has always had multiple playmates. He has not been around dogs so a meet-n-greet may be required with calm dogs only for consideration.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and fiv/felv tested negative.
