Gentle Lemoncito Big NYC Bombay Boy Bombay New York, NY

Well this boy just got to us, had lived w/ 4 other cats and has made himself at home with the resident cats and dog! Lemoncito is a SWEET little lemon, not bitter about his recent change of fate at all! He's 8y young, gentle little giant, and not so 'ito' at 15+lbs but all the more to love! Just have to work on changing him over to a healthy all canned food diet. So please apply if you have another cat because he does enjoy feline company.

All our cats are in the NY area and can be adopted out of state. We do like to meet you so plan on picking up; if flying, in cabin only; in some cases we will help with transport.

Please note: kittens MUST be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we are happy to recommend cats who would do best as solos. Cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/Felv tested, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.

Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application by Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, you can perhaps foster, volunteer, and of course, you can always donate!
