Meet Geneva, a stunning teenage (about 7 months old) tuxedo beauty with a sleek coat, bright eyes, and endless cuddles to give. This healthy girl enjoys lounging by the window, watching the world go by, and then curling up with her humans for snuggles and love.

She’s gentle and does well around other cats, but her favorite thing of all is being showered with affection (besides mealtimes of course, that’s a non negotiable). Other cats in the household help Geneva feel more confident.

Geneva would be the perfect match for someone who is home often and ready to give her all the kisses and attention she deserves, or someone with another feline in the household for Geneva to hang out with while you’re gone at work.

Currently in foster care in Hollywood. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation.

All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.

Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.

We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.

We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.

When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.

If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
