Meet Gemini

ADOPT ME! Gemini is 1 year old large tabby. Gemini came into the shelter territorial after too many transitions and appreciates nothing more than his own space and his own humans in foster. Gemini has an intense fear of strangers and would need a slow introduction to new people or secured in a bedroom when you entertain. Once he trusts, Gemini is a sweet, quiet, cuddly lap cat and is also happy to waste the day suntanning in the window. Gemini is OK with school age kids and dogs, but is not a fan of other cats. *Gemini needs to be monitored for painful stress-induced cystitis (but it has not reoccured since hes been in our care). For more info on this handsome boy, please email us at tnccatmanager@gmail.com #catsofinstagram #cats

PET VIDEO

The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other cats in your home, they must all be up to date and spayed/neutered prior to application submission. All members of the family must meet the pet.

Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out. But we will coach you on alternative methods of managing cats with claws.

*****We are currently operating by appointment only during the social distancing stage of quarantine. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to email@townandcountryhumanesociety.org. Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal. If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the cat team or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit.

Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission.
