GATZ Siamese & Domestic Short Hair Mix Palm Desert, CA

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


GATZ, his 3 siblings (BANKURO - HAMLET - DEVIL DIAS) and 4 older cat relatives were living in a tough area in Baldwin Park, California. These poor babies were living in someone's yard in the heat. The rescue mama happened to look on Facebook one day and saw the video of one of GATZ's possible siblings being chased by a coyote, Needless to say, the rescue mama set course the next day to pick them all up.


So GATZ (named after the anime: ONE PIECE) has known the street life for a very short time. With all the tragedy that has happened to this boy and his family, he deserves to be have a wonderful home. He has now been living a nice pampered life.


GATZ loves to be petted. He can be shy at first. When you pick him up, he will stay still and allow pets. He has never had a home, so it will take him time to adjust. You can see in his sweet little face, he is has the look of wanting love. He makes biscuits and really loves his can food. He will need guidance and definitely a friendly cat / kitten to finish showing him how to be a house cat.


GATZ is DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / SIAMESE-FLAMEPOINT MIX. He is about 7 months old and is good with cats and non-reactive to dogs. He has never been around young children.


GATZ is currently at PETSMART in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue.


ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

FEBRUARY 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 5 pm - 8 pm. You can call the Petsmart location and find out what time an evening volunteer will be there. There is also a sheet on the cattery door with VISITING HOURS.


The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
