Garfield is a big, 3-year-old, cuddly, orange tabby looking for his forever home.

He is a laid-back cat who loves to be picked up and cuddled. He can be found watching the birds and squirrels outside through the window if he's not cuddled up right beside you on the couch. Garfield would do best with someone who doesn't mind sharing the bed at night, but be warned - he takes up his fair share of space!

While not as playful as some cats, he will chase you around the house after a long piece of string, or chase down balls or other small soft objects. He is currently living with a family of four (kids aged 10 and 13) and although being quite a hefty cat, he is quite gentle and good natured.

He is very talkative, and will hold quite a conversation with you, especially if you've been a bit slow on getting the food in the bowl. We cannot confirm if he likes lasagna or not.

Garfield is a really sweet and cuddly cat, and would make a great companion for just about anyone.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
