Meet Garfield

Meet Garfield!

Garfield is the sweetest orange tabby you've ever met. He is a very calm mannered boy who really likes to just go with the flow. He would be content laying next to you all day. He would be the perfect lap cat. He is very much a little shadow and likes to follow you around the home. He has the cutest little meow and loves saying hello to everybody he meets!

Like his name implies Garfield loves food! He is your typical orange boy who would love to be fed treats all day long!

Garfield is a Feline Leukemia positive kitty which means he may have a shorter life span than a normal cat. Careful monitoring of his normal daily activity is also an important part of managing FeLV. Although he may require a little extra care he will provide you with immense love during his time! Take a chance on him and you will not regret it!

Garfield is in an amazing foster home that is teaching him how to be loved! He is currently fostered with the resident pup, but he mostly keeps his distance and isn't interested in being besties. He would need a cat savvy pup in his forever home, sometimes fast movements by the pup make him nervous. He would also do just fine on his own! He is loving his foster home but is ready for a home to call his own!

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty youve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!

Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.

We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
