Gail and Simone's Story

Hi, our names are Gail and Simone! We are PURPLE pawprints, which means we will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for us in our new home:
-Personality: Simone is more shy, reserved, and curious. Gail is friendly, affectionate, and curious!
-Can Live with Cats: Yes, Gail and Simone are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They might get along with a resident cat, so long as they are properly introduced.
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown history. A slow and supervised introduction with a calm and cat-savvy dog would be ideal.
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history. Gail and Simone would likely do well with most kids (6 years and up) so long as they respect their boundaries.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes, at least until they are a year old.
-History of Litter Box Issues: None
-Energy Level: High
-Bite History: None
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, both need a spay.
Additional Information:
Meet Gail and Simone, a bonded pair of young adult cats who are looking for their forever home. Simone is pretty reserved, especially in new situations, but having Gail around will build her confidence and make them a great pair of playful and energetic young cats. A quiet, low traffic household would be an ideal home for these guys to come out of their shells. If you think Gail and Simone are the cats for you, adopt today!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
