This very handsome, friendly boy is one of 10 outdoor cats left behind when their owner went into the hospital and never returned home. Although Gabriel lived outdoors, it is now clear that he could also be quite happy living the indoor lifestyle. He is willing to consider a variety of different opportunities! Gabe comes to his foster mom looking for attention. He loves to be combed and brushed and can easily be picked up and held. He has a near identical twin sister named Geraldine who hopes to find a home as an indoor cat, and Gabe would very likely be happy to join her for that. He could certainly also be very happy living as a barn cat with caring owners in a quiet, traffic-safe, country location. Gabe has several buddies in foster care who would be wonderful companions for him in a barn home.Gabriel is neutered, vaccinated, negative for feline leukemia and FIV and in beautiful, healthy condition. The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. In certain situations, 'special-needs' cats, ferals and older cats will be adopted to homes at a greater distance then a 1 hour drive from Allentown PA.
