Furmina Domestic Short Hair Brooklyn, NY

Sweet Furmina loves all humans. Her purr motor starts as soon as you pet her. She’ll even let you clip her claws! Her favorite pastimes are hanging out on the sofa with her humans and batting around her toy mice and balls. She’s okay with the other cat and dog in her foster home, but she’d be purrfectly content to be your only fur baby. She’s about 14 years old (as of July 2023) and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has a heart murmur, which has been evaluated by a cardiologist, and it is mild. She does not need medication, and the cardiologist says it should not be a barrier to adoption. She purred so much, it was hard for him to listen to heart.

Furmina had a home until the start of the pandemic in 2020, when her human decided to relocate. She boarded Furmina with a sitter for what was supposed to be a few months until she got her new home set up. But a few months turned into three years, and she cut off all contact. She simply discarded Furmina leaving the sitter with all her expenses. :(
