Meet Freya (FIV+)
Freya is a 6-year-old, sassy lady looking for her forever home!
She is a very sweet and independent cat. She enjoys pets and cuddling but is independent enough to hang out on her own. She is also very vocal, especially when it comes to food. Her sounds range from the standard meow to what could only be described as baby dinosaur. When her foster mom comes home from work, Freya shows her excitement by vibrating her tail and stopping her little back feet. She is a little shy about new people/environments but adjusts within a few days. Every single night she likes to curl up with her foster mom to go to sleep. Her body language is easy to read. She likes having her cheeks scratched but is not a fan of anyone touching her tail or paws.
Freya's hobbies are looking out windows, playing with feather toys, and finding cool places to hide.
In the evening she gets energetic and has the zoomies. She especially likes to play during this time.
She is currently living with her foster mom in a studio apartment. She hasn't been around other cats, dogs, or children, so it's unknown how she would behave around them. Since she has FIV, she should go to a home that either has another FIV+ cat(s) or be the only cat in the home.
Her ideal home is a quiet place with lots of love.
She is currently on Hills prescription dry food because she had tummy issues when she first came into the foster program. With her prescription food, she has no more issues.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.
Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
