Fred was living as a stray when he was brought into Southern Animal Rescue. He had a pretty severe limp and the vet discovered the growth plate on one side of his hip had not fused properly. He had to have surgery and will always have a slight limp. Despite this, he gets around well and can live a very normal life.
Fred is full of energy and very active. He loves having secure access to outside, like a screened in porch. He loves to feel the breeze in his hair! He's very sweet and affectionate and purrs constantly. He loves to cuddle. Playing with toy mice and catnip cigars are his favorite past times! He's a very handsome tuxedo guy who would love to chat with you over your morning coffee. He's a big talker but he's also a thoughtful listener. He would love to cuddle up during these cold winter nights with you and binge watch your favorite show (he's not picky about what you guys watch as long as there is a blanket and a lap involved). Fred currently lives with other foster cats and dogs and does great with both.
If you're looking for a very affectionate young cat, Fred is your guy. Let us know if you'd like to arrange to meet him! You can fill out an application for Fred at:http://www.southernanimalrescue.org/adopt_cats.html
